Settings - Alerts

Settings has 2 tabs, Reports and Alerts.

The Reports tab allows you to set up printing defaults.

The alerts tab allows you to set up an email address and/or mobile phone number for emails and SMS notifications to be sent to, notifying you when a patient result is added to your dashboard.

 

When you log into PRC Direct, you are taken to the Dashboard, which is the default screen.

To access Settings, click on your name in the top right hand corner of the page and select Settings from the drop down menu.

 

Email Alerts

Add your email address to receive email notifications :

  • Outpatient results - notification of results for your patients being available
    • Include group results - select if you are part of a group and want notifications for the whole group
    • Priorities only - only receive notifications for Priority results
  • Inpatient results - applicable if you have an hospital attached to your PRC Direct account
    • Priorities only - only receive notifications for Priority results
  • Transferred/Granted Access Results - notification of patient results transferred to you/your group, or where you/your group have requested access

SMS Alerts

  • Outpatient priority results
  • Inpatient priority results - applicable if you have an hospital attached to your PRC Direct account
  • Transferred/Granted Access Results - notification of patient results transferred to you/your group
